Weipa

Weipa is essentially a mining town. The Mining and Town Tour is an excellent three hour experience and the guide is very knowledgeable. Book ahead as this is very popular.

The West Cape Cultural Experience is worth a visit. It provides a very in-depth history of the local Indigenous people and their connection with Weipa and the surrounding area.
