The Kings Canyon Rim Walk

We Came We Saw We conquered

We set off for the ‘The King’s Canyon Rim Walk’ early. It’s a six and a half kilometre hike and the steep ascents, especially the first section which is very, very steep, and the rutted terrain make it quite a challenging walk. It took us over three hours to complete it. We walked at a steady pace, and with every turn we stopped to admire and photograph the beauty of this enormous natural sculpture; Its gorges, waterholes and cliff tops that offered breathtaking views of the world below and beyond us. We literally were… on top of the world.
