ThunderFlea and Crutchy
They say things happen in threes. Firstly I injured my foot back in April and the day I was due to have X-rays on my foot, Steve woke up and noticed he’d been eaten by a very, very, hungry beast. Hundreds of bites all over both arms and one of his shoulders, yep both arms only one shoulder! Clearly Steve tastes better, ‘cause I was spared the attack! He spent that day understandably concerned and attempted some online research in order to identify the culprit. He thinks most likely a flea! The itchy bites are driving him mad and thankfully no more bites since.
The following day, whilst I’m walking around outside the van with the aid of my crutches, Steve was busy investigating the car fridge lid not sealing properly. A while later after lifting the fridge back into the car, the Muscular Warning Siren sounded. “Lower Back Locked!”
And so that night the two sickies (Crutchy and ThunderFlea) hobbled around nursing one another’s ailments, feeling very sorry for themselves, knowing that neither could take over the reins and lead the rig onto the open road.
Steve is now walking around like a puppet from The Thunderbirds and looking like he has participated in a corroboree.
Just to let you all know that we are both slowly on the mend and looking forward to venturing into Western Australia over the next few days.

Oh Kath, we are in nowhere land. 60 ks east of Kununurra. Had to beg the hosts if I could hook into their wifi. Thinking of you guys and Eurovision and really disappointed we couldn’t share it with you.
