Blinman

Blinman is a small locality in the northern Flinders Ranges with heaps of punch. No council here. The town has a Progress Association and the community are involved in managing their town.

 I can highly recommend the bakery ‘The Miners Crib’. They make the best pies and cakes I have eaten and their bread is scrumptious.

The mine tour is also worth doing. It’s run on the hour every day and it includes a guide and sound effects. Finish your day off with a pint and pizza at the local pub. We stayed at Alpana Station , just a few Ks down the road.  This is a friendly and most welcoming town.
