Blue Mountains

In late March, we headed to Katoomba, a bustling town in the Blue Mountains. The climate here was a sharp contrast to the warm hot days and nights we’d been experiencing.

It rained and hailed and the wind was wild and icy, however this did not deter us from exploring this natural wonder. We wrapped ourselves up from head to toe and hiked through some of the most amazing bush tracks to fast flowing waterfalls and rivers and upwards to lookouts that provided breath taking and expansive views of the area.

Our last day in Blackheath was cool, clear and sunny. We caught up with my brother and his family and spent the day visiting the Three Sisters followed with afternoon tea at The Hydro Majestic.

Don’t know what I’ve been doing wrong (my IT guru is on a 4wheel drive adventure), but I’ve just come across a backlog of blog entries! Taking a hot cuppa up to bed and catching up with your travels xxx
